The Epiphone Inspired by Gibson Custom IGC Mayday Monster 1960 J-45 Limited Edition celebrates the enduring stage and studio legacy of the J-45 while paying tribute to Mayday’s Monster. Finished in a deep Wine Red, this special-edition acoustic-electric combines a classic 1960s J-45-inspired outline with distinctive Mayday details created for players, fans, and collectors alike.

A solid Sitka spruce top works with solid mahogany back and sides to deliver the direct, balanced acoustic character associated with the J-45 design. The guitar features a mahogany neck with a Rounded C profile, a rosewood fingerboard, 20 frets, a 24.75-inch scale length, and a bone nut for a familiar, comfortable playing feel. Four-ply top binding and single-ply back binding complete the vintage-inspired construction.

Mayday Monster details give the instrument its individual identity. The pickguard carries a Mayday Monster signature mark and red heart artwork, while the rosewood fingerboard features mother-of-pearl five-star and heart inlays inspired by artwork created by Monster’s daughter, Zhan Yong. A classic Gibson-style open-book headstock, ivory-button Epiphone Deluxe three-on-a-plate tuners, and nickel hardware reinforce the period-inspired presentation.
